Ambari 2.2.1.1 Installation

  • ubuntu
    • wget -nv http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/ambari/ubuntu14/2.x/updates/2.2.1.1/ambari.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ambari.list
    • apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com B9733A7A07513CAD
    • apt-get update
    • apt-get -y install ambari-server
    • service postgresql stop
  • centos
    • wget -nv http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/ambari/centos7/2.x/updates/2.2.1.1/ambari.repo -O /etc/yum.repos.d/ambari.repo
    • yum -y install ambari-server
    • systemctl stop  postgresql.service
  • mysql-connecotr-java
  • MySQL 5.6

    • mysql -u root -p
    • CREATE USER 'ambari'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'bigdata';
    • GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'ambari'@'%';
    • CREATE USER 'ambari'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'bigdata';
    • GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'ambari'@'localhost';
    • CREATE USER 'ambari'@'test.com' IDENTIFIED BY 'bigdata';
    • GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'ambari'@'test.com';
    • FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
    • exit;
    • mysql -u ambari -p
    • CREATE DATABASE ambari;
    • USE ambari;
    • SOURCE /var/lib/ambari-server/resources/Ambari-DDL-MySQL-CREATE.sql;
    • exit;
  • ambari-server setup
    1. Select y at Enter advanced database configuration
    2. enter 3 (mysql)
    3. select default values for all left
  • ambari-server start
